Quality you can see and feel

Picture
After spending many years working for others and raising a family John and his wife, Sandy, decided to “re-invent” themselves by becoming craftsmen at Pike Place market in Seattle, John as a blacksmith and Sandy as a fabric artist.
Going from hobbyist to retailer, John has been forging his pieces of iron for the millions of visitors that visit the Market to experience the Market environment and “Meet the Makers” of the wonderful arts and crafts there.  He makes solid, iconic pieces, popular with tourists as well as locals, which quickly become family heirlooms and are guaranteed to be functional for a lifetime.
John and Sandy have recently moved from the Seattle area to Bloomington, Indiana!

John, aka The Happy Blacksmith, is passionate about his craft.  His shop located in his backyard in Bloomington, Indiana. When he is not forging, he is taking care of his chickens and helping Sandy raise guide dog puppies as volunteers for Guide Dogs for the Blind™ based in San Rafael, CA and Boring, OR.
John is committed to making his customers happy with their purchase by offering high quality hammered pieces of iron made by hand, made to last a lifetime, and made locally in America.
